In StockHair Growth

Minoxidil 2.5 mg with biotin, vitamin D3 and K2 — hormone-free, for women and men.

What's inside

Four ingredients in one daily capsule — one prescription active and three nutritional cofactors that support healthy hair growth.

  • Minoxidil 2.5 mg
Extends the growth phase of the hair cycle and improves blood flow to the follicle.
  • Biotin 1 mg
A B-vitamin involved in keratin production and hair shaft quality.
  • Vitamin D3 2000 IU
Supports the follicle cycle; low D levels are common in patients with diffuse thinning.
  • Vitamin K2 100 mcg
Paired with D3 to help direct calcium appropriately while supplementing.

How it works

Minoxidil widens the small blood vessels feeding the follicle and keeps hairs in their active growth phase longer, so strands live longer and grow thicker before they cycle out. Taken orally, it reaches the whole scalp — no foam, no residue, nothing to time around your shower.

The biotin, D3 and K2 in the formula don't drive regrowth on their own; they cover the nutritional gaps that quietly limit it. Because Lush Lox contains no finasteride or other hormonal agents, it doesn't affect DHT or testosterone — which is exactly why it works for patients who can't or don't want to take a hormonal treatment.

What to expect

  • Cadence
One capsule daily, with or without food.
  • Mechanism
Low-dose oral minoxidil extends the growth phase; biotin, D3 and K2 support the follicle environment.
  • Hormone-free
No finasteride and no hormonal ingredients — suitable for women and men.
  • Timeline
Less shedding around month 2–3, visible regrowth by month 4–6.
  • Side-effect pattern
Mild fluid retention or increased body hair in some patients; monitored at follow-ups.

Who it's for

Lush Lox is the option we reach for when a hormonal treatment isn't appropriate or isn't wanted — including most women with diffuse thinning.

Likely a good fit
  • Women 18+ with diffuse thinning or widening part.
  • Men who want regrowth support without a DHT blocker.
  • Anyone who has disliked or plateaued on topical minoxidil.
  • Patients who prefer one capsule over a multi-step scalp routine.
Not a fit right now
  • Currently pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding.
  • Uncontrolled low blood pressure, or on medications that interact.
  • History of pericardial disease or heart failure without cardiology clearance.
  • Sudden or patchy hair loss that may need a different diagnosis.

Your first 6 months

Hair cycles slowly. Monthly photos in the same light are a far better measure of progress than the mirror.

  1. Months 1–2
    Adjustment window

Some patients see a brief increase in shedding as follicles reset into a new growth phase. Your clinician checks for fluid retention and adjusts the dose if needed.

  2. Months 3–4
    Regrowth becomes visible

Fine new hairs appear along the part and hairline, and existing strands feel thicker as the growth phase extends.

  3. Months 5–6
    Density stabilizes

Most patients see clear density improvement in photos. Your clinician reviews response and decides whether to hold or adjust.

Compare your options

Hormone-free, or hormonal?

Lush Lox and Regrow Fuel are both hormone-free. Follicle Fuel 1 adds finasteride to lower DHT, which makes it a men-only option. Your clinician recommends the right one based on your intake.
